an AUDITION to: the group of French horns with the obligation of the 1st French horn

1. Each applicant must choose between two following concerts and perform 1st movement.
   
   • W. A. Mozart: Horn Concerto No. 2 E-flat major, KV 417
   • R. Strauss: Horn Concerto No. 1 E-flat major, Op. 11
2. Orchestral excerpts (for the 1st Horn and tutti):
   
   • L. van Beethoven – Symphony No. 3 E-flat major, 3. mov. (trio)
   • L. van Beethoven – Symphony No. 6 F major, 3. a 5th mov.
   • L. van Beethoven – Symphony No. 7 A major, 1st mov.
   • L. van Beethoven – Symphony No. 9 D minor, 3rd mov.
   • B. Smetana – My Country, Blaník
   • P. I. Tchaikovsky – Symphony No. 4 F minor, 1st mov.
   • P. I. Tchaikovsky – Symphony No. 5 E minor, 2nd mov.
   • J. Brahms – Piano Concerto No. 1 D minor, 1st mov.
   • D. Shostakovich – Symphony No. 5 D minor, 1st mov.
   • F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy – Symphony No. 3 A minor, 2nd and 3rd mov.

Each applicant is to attach their repertoire prepared for the audition and is to provide the sheet music for the piano accompaniment. The accompanist can be provided by the Pilsen Philharmonic, upon request.

Date of the commencement of employment by agreement.
