Jitka Molavcová – Love Is Not Just Letters

Jitka Molavcová, a remarkable star of the Semafor Theatre (for an incredible 50 years), an outstanding actress and singer, but also a writer, is the author of this recital, which is composed of legendary songs and chansons by distinctive and famous authors such as Voskovec and Werich, Suchý and Šlitr, as well as sketches, poetic lines, quotations of meaningful sentences, clever entertainment and imaginative reflections on life (about life), love, the relationship between men and women, marriage, old age and the end of life. All this in conjunction with and accompanied by the excellent pianist Petr Ožana, who is also the author of several interpretatively challenging compositions that will be performed in Jitka Molavcová’s recital.
