Christmas & Pilsen Philharmonic

The Christmas concert of the Pilsen Philharmonic, conducted by Chuhei Iwasaki, brings the enchanting atmosphere of the holiday season filled with joy, fairy tales, and tradition. The program opens with Oskar Nedbal’s Suite from the ballet "From One Fairy Tale to Another", which brings magical stories to life. This is followed by Jaroslav Pelikán's Pastorela in E major, which immerses the audience in a Christmas world filled with shepherd melodies. Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols adds English Christmas charm, while Jiří Teml’s The Holy Scriptures Fulfilled will present a touching cycle of Christmas carols. The Kühn Children's Choir, led by choirmaster Petr Louženský, will join the Pilsen Philharmonic, creating an unforgettable festive experience.
