Měšťanská beseda
Under the baton of conductor Rémy Ballot, the Pilsen Philharmonic invites you to an evening of contrasting musical landscapes. The program opens with Mozartiana, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s graceful homage to the genius of Mozart, reimagined through a romantic lens. Rising bassoonist Elias Neuwirth then takes center stage in Carl Maria von Weber’s Bassoon Concerto in F major, a virtuosic and lyrical showcase of the instrument’s expressive range. The concert concludes with Felix Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 3 in A minor, "Scottish", a work brimming with dramatic atmosphere, inspired by the wild beauty and historic spirit of Scotland.
