On Wednesday, February 7, 1945, Count Zdeněk Bořek-Dohalský — a journalist for Lidové noviny, supporter of Masaryk’s Czechoslovakia, and a prominent figure in the anti-Nazi resistance — was executed in the Small Fortress of Terezín. Since 2020, this date has been part of the commemorative calendar of events organized by the Terezín Memorial. The same date also marks his association with an event in cooperation with the Pilsen Philharmonic.
