Měšťanská beseda
The Pilsen Philharmonic, under the baton of Chuhei Iwasaki, presents an evening that bridges the energy of contemporary music with the enduring legacy of European tradition. The program opens with Concerto for String Orchestra by Polish composer Grażyna Bacewicz—a work full of rhythmic vitality and neoclassical elegance. It is followed by the Concerto for Oboe and Orchestra by contemporary Czech composer Jiří Gemrot, featuring the laureate of the prestigious Prague Spring International Music Competition as soloist. The highlight of the evening will be Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92, celebrated for its unrestrained vitality, dance-like rhythms, and masterful form.
